Guide to the JLPT July 2025 Results: What You Need to Know

 The wait is over! The JLPT July 2025 results are officially out, and it's time to check how you did. Whether you're a student aiming for scholarships or a professional enhancing your career, your JLPT score is a significant milestone. Let's walk through everything you need to know to access your results and what steps to take next.

 When Were the Results Released?

The Japan Foundation announced the JLPT July 2025 results on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM Japan Standard Time (JST), which corresponds to 6:30 AM Indian Standard Time (IST). You have until October 31, 2025, to access your results online, so don't wait too long!


 How to Check Your JLPT Results

To view your results, visit the official JLPT result portal:

You'll need your:

  • Registration Number

  • Password (or Date of Birth, depending on your registration)

For candidates in India, you can also check your results through the MOSAI portal:

📄 What Information Will You Find?

Once logged in, you'll see:

  • Overall Score (out of 180)

  • Section-wise Scores: Vocabulary, Grammar, Reading, and Listening

  • Pass/Fail Status

Remember, to pass, you need to meet both the overall score and the minimum sectional scores.

 When Will You Receive Your Certificate?

After the online results are released, the official score reports and certificates will be mailed to candidates:

  • In Japan: Early September 2025

  • Outside Japan (including India): By early October 2025

Check with your local test center or affiliated partner for distribution details.

 What If You Didn't Pass?

Don't be discouraged. Many candidates find the JLPT challenging, especially at higher levels like N2 and N1. Treat this as a learning experience and an opportunity to improve. Consider retaking the exam in December 2025 or enrolling in preparatory courses to strengthen your skills.
